I am delighted to become a member of the editorial board of GeoInformatica. GeoInformatica is a journal to publish “the most innovative research results in the application of computer science applied to geographic information systems”. On September 1st 2008 I was promoted to senior lecturer in the Department of Computer Science & Software Engineering at the University of Melbourne. A big thank you to my friends and colleagues for their support.
